Jordie Lunn's YT Tues CF - Red Bull Rampage 2018
I weight 205 and run around 58 psi in my Fox 36 170mm Grip2 w/2 tokens and 237 psi in my Fox X2 with no tokens. The bike feels like the front ends dives more on the downhills. The mechanic at the bike shop let me borrow his Shockwiz and he basically helped me dial in the X2 but it seemed we were still tinkering with the fork when i had to give it back. i may try messing with the high speed rebound again like in the article Pinkbike had a couple of days ago. The suspension we have access to now is unbelievable. I still remember back in the summer of 94' when i bought a brand new stump jumper in the grunge grape frame with full xt and badass Rockshox Judy with 2" of suspension. Still wish i had that bike for the frame alone. Badass looking frame.

Video: Specialized's New Turbo Levo Ad is 'Mind Blowing'
saw a 24" wheel full suspension bike on the trail the other day. That got my attention more than any E bike i have seen.

First Ride: Pivot's New Firebird 29
if you are looking to buy this bike, the local dealer i checked with today recommended going with the XO1 package instead of the XTR. this bike has the old XTR group, not the one they just introduced. He said Pivot would not be putting the new XTR group until September. just something to consider if you cant decide on the XTR or XO1.

5 Men's Kits Tested - 2018 Summer Gear Guide
Yep, live in the Asheville area for the past 6 years. Bought a pair of Endura's MTB shorts. The summer weight ones. Miles and miles on those shorts and not even a loose thread. 5 years of bashing through the woods in Pisgah will let you know how good your choice of MTB clothing is.

Pinkbike Poll: Could You Make it Down a World Cup Downhill Course?
@cmcrawfo: remember many years ago I was working for small company selling internet service to local companies where we built them a website also. This one cat i called on that owned a used car dealership said he had just one question after my sales pitch, " Do i get the whole internet, or just some of the internet?" LOL. Will never forget that response

Recharging the Soul in Pisgah
I moved the family to Asheville area 2 years ago and had no idea how good the biking around Brevard was. I have ridden basically every trail mentioned in the posts above and the only one i didn't like was Farlow Gap. Seems people have a love/hate relationship with that ride.
