Throwback Thursday: 22 Bikes from the First Ever EWS Race
I still have my 2014 Bronson, same one Peatey and Minaar are riding here and it doesn't feel dated at all to me.., yeah it rides quite a bit different from the newer generation Bronson but both are great bikes which are capable pretty much anywhere. I still ride my OG Bronson quite a bit despite having two newer 29ers in the stable. The 2013 Yeti SB95 I used to have, on the other hand.. I'm not sure I would call it unrideable but it definitely feels very dated and a world apart from the current SB130.

10 Mountain Bike Hip Packs Ridden & Rated
If you live in a hot climate its worth noting that the Camelbak podium flow pack has an insulated sleeve for the bottle which works pretty well, keeps my drink relatively cool even in 100F temps. I don't think any of the other packs have that feature. I ride with two podium dirt series bottles, one in the bottle cage and one in the hip pack, and I'm always pleasantly surprised at how cool the second bottle is when I swap it into the cage. (no insulation in the bottles themselves cause the larger insulated bottles don't fit in my frame)

7 Bikes of the Tour Divide
yeah I run mezcals on my XC bike now and not surprised to see them used on tour divide, by far the longest wearing tire I've ever used (and one of the fastest rolling also). A set of Mezcal's last me around 5-6 times longer than Rocket Ron snakeskin which I was using before, and they cost half the price..

Cross-Country Tech from the Pits - Les Gets World Cup XC 2019
@sooner518: Don't expect it to die any time soon.. I've been running 2014 Flow EX on my OG bronson for 5 years now, on their 3rd set of decals and still riding strong despite being abused at granby, keystone, trestle, etc. I've trashed several 29'er wheels on my other bikes in that timeframe but the flow EX just keeps rolling.

First Ride: RockShox's Updated 2020 Reverb - Bike Connection Summer 2019
yeah I'm 5'11" with a 34" inseam and use a 175mm post on large Hightower with the post almost as far into the frame as it will go, I can't imagine using a 175mm post if I were any shorter.

The Unlikely Mountain Bike Mecca of Bentonville, AR
Its walmart corporate HQ so the jobs there are more white collar compared to those at your typical walmart store. Former coworker of mine moved from Austin to Bentonville last year to do software dev. for walmart. He said lots of transplants from bay area and other tech hub cities on his team and pretty much all of them came for the trails, smart move by walmart funding the trails in order to attract talent.

Rubber Side Down, Danny Summerhill - Video
@Maxxis: I look forward to trying the new tubeless CX tires but I hope they fit the rim tighter than your Rambler gravel tire.. that one is a fantastic tire in most respects but difficult or impossible to mount on some rims and burps too easily if anything touches the sidewall.

HydraPak, Yakima, Küat - Interbike 2016
When your heart rate is pegged its much easier to drink from a bottle where you can squeeze the fluids into your mouth instead of having to waste breath to suck the fluid out.. so I can see a use for this system in XC racing, especially if you have an FS bike that doesn't have room for 2 cages. Also endurance gravel racing ie. dirty kanza The large nozzle does look like it would be awkward if you were trying to use it like a standard nozzle, but I don't see why it would be any more difficult to aim into your mouth compared to a bottle with a jet nozzle (like the camelbak podium bottles)
