Once again a great looking frame with terrible seat post insertion on the small frame.

Well a heads up. There's a beady eye on their website with gearing and mech / udh. Still 90mm travel.

So if the genie shock is considered a fairly linear shock, should it not be well suited to fairly progressive bikes with over 25% progression. They talk about the shock being quite linear and coil like, but working fantastically on a low progression frame. Have I missed something here.!

Well. 85kg on bike. Zeb ultimate. Older ones. So I closed HSC. Opened LSC all the way. Opened Rebound almost all the way. Dropped pressure to 61.5. F me if this doesn't feel like a different fork. It tracks better, has muted out a lot of the trail chatter, and it's not spiking on big hits. Previously I was close HSC open. LSC about 5 from fully open. Rebound - 9 from fully closed. 65 psi. The fork just feels like it's doing a lot better now. Placebo! Don't care. The ride today was miles better than I've had this thing in years.

@AppleJack76: oh yeah, just picked that up. No UDH. That's a bit of an oversight with the 'no raw' option.

I'm surprised with all the comments about reach. I'm still on ETT, because that's the riding position for probably 60% of my riding; and that's actually the seating position length wise at effective seat height. So while these reach numbers seem long, the ETT is actually nominal for the frame size and comparable to the last model.

Well I've used DVO before with the diamond fork. I weigh 80kg and it was far better than fox. This review surprises me because it's the exact opposite of what I encountered. Anyway opinions are like arse holes. Everyone has one. I look forward to the new DVO forks.
