I disagree, if a pro sells thousands of people on something the impact is multiplied by thousands of times.
That said we gotta figure out a better way to do air travel, which isn't easy to do, or to recapture the carbon.

Agreed except on the wheels, that is unsprung weight and all else being equal a lighter wheelset should follow the ground more closely through bumps
