@arek: Sure when Pidcock has all the wins to surpass Nino it'll be easy to officially handover the GOAT title. But Pidock's focus isn't WCXC. It seems to be just a fun side gig for him so he probably wont be doing enough races to match Nino. But lets just be honest here, if Pidcock, spent the next 2 or 3 seasons dedicated only to MTB he'd smash Nino's record before he's even 28.

@arek: I get all of that. Nino's longevity and track record is world class. And to be so competitive after so many years is impressive as hell. But when Pidcock blows the doors off of Nino and everyone else so consistently even with a terrible grid position its just hard to call Nino the 'greatest'. I bet Pidcock's win rate also blows Nino out the water. The kid is just a beast beyond anyone else and will only get faster in the next decade.

@mtbcrosscountry-com: Yes Nino has the most WC's But Pidcock could clearly surpass him if his sole focus was WCXC. So Nino's GOAT status is meaningless.
