It might just be me, but this course seems so much more reasonable (as in the average rider could do it, obviously not that fast but you know what I mean) than some of the other Urban DH's we see that have 50 foot doubles and stuff on them.. I'm not saying it would be easy, but it seems like comparatively I would actually like to try this one.
Yarlezy, I'm not saying it would be easy. And yes, crashing on those stair sets would be a serious insult to your body. But compared to some courses? I would love to give this a go.
Did you see the front end come out on that landing in the dirt? Good luck, its just you. This is the best video production I have ever seen. Nice job. Watch it again.
I think it has to do with the way the vídeo das eddited...maybe you should check some pov from sikmik or polcster if there is one because seriously, in words of eliot jackson, the people that designed the course don't care about safety at all
i've lived in the mountains for most of my life. I can say that i have been able to ride almost anywhere i want in mountains because of the availability of open terrain. What I cant understand is how someone in 3rd countries would get started and practice to ride urban DH with these features? Its not like the jumps are left there or the city blocks off a course for ppl to practice.
Well in my town i have only a short freeride trail and some cool long enduro but sometimes i ride "downtown", our city is full of big stairs and other stuff like that, so i was thinking "i'm good" and one day i was on trip to Croatia, on place i met local guy with downhill rig who shreds almost only in the city. Damn, he was fast as hell! I'll remember it for whole my life, he gave me a lot of tips. So if you really want to race in town you need real sick skills!
