best idea ever.. not only can you decide yourself what to colour,, but it gives you a possibility to get all your components in the SAME anodizing colour.. without differences in colour tone.. nice to see you can anodize any small component you want.. if the picture is correct..? although some extra costs can be expected i think.. but now linkage is offered to be anodized ..where does it stop ? lower fork legs.. rear ends of bikes..? but i do see the innner surface of the milled hole for the bearing in the linkage is anodized aswell ! and thats not good for fitting the bearings back in now is it ?
There are not any limits in anodizing, beside the fact that only alloy components can be anodized. The cost which you have to add is the shipping price, which is different for each country, so if anybody would like to get to know about that, please write to us an email on trebacz (at) weeze.pl . And also if you would like to send us the components which was anodized, and have already a color, and you do not want to strip it we can do it, but it will make the price maintained in blog a little bit bigger.
i have something against red components and all forks seem to come with a red knob. you saved me! spraypaint never lasted long or looked good for knobs. i noticed that there are graphics on top of the new ano... you do that as well? can i get my name on my shifter too?
Really good thing man! Peoples bikes can get a bit "greener" now. One can do that instead of buying some new stuff. It is minimizing the negative effect but well, some step forward indeed.
So...what do we need to do if we have a stem, fork crowns, etc that are already ano'd or even powdercoated? Do you blast/strip them there to or do we need to do that here first?
Yep, I've been emailing with you about some brake levers so far. I think it will be best to have you all do everything, stripping and anodizing, then I know it's done right. How do you guys strip/remove old anodizing anyway? Soda blasting? Chemical? Also, do you sell bolts, etc that are already colored?
