At What Point Does Mountain Biking Go From Inspiring to Unrelatable?
eBike hate seems to be a very USA thing. If your only metric is physical strength and commitment then I'd be f*cked, because at the grand old age of the wrong end of fifty and with chemo behind me and two kids I spent a lot of time with while they were growing up... the best I could do without some help would be the gym (boring).
I bought an SL eBike because all my non-eBike riding mates egged me on to do it. Five years on and all of them have one too now and we're exploring places we'd never have got to on non-assist bikes, even when we were young and fit.
I raced DH when I was younger, I did a Megavalanche on a f*cking hardtail in the 90s, I spent years in the gym, I think I've 'earned' my fun (you may disagree), and on the downs I can still hang with people half my age. This sport keeps me happy, healthy and mentally in the right place.
I couldn't be happier I don't live in the same part of the world as you. America, the land of the free.... apparently only if you've 'earned' it and didn't go bankrupt when life threw you a curve ball.

First Look: Hope EVO V6Ti Brakes - Six Pistons Are Back
@nicoenduro: That's what everyone told when I spent my money to go from the MonoTi6 to the Evo lever, to the Tech V4. "Fool me once..." and all that.

First Look: Hope EVO V6Ti Brakes - Six Pistons Are Back
I had the originals, which looked cool as f@ck but weren't very powerful at all.
Then I got the V2s which were underwhelming and then the V4 with Tech3 levers, which were a huge let down (they worked, but on long, steep runs they just underbraked everything else available (and yes, they were well bled and had clean pads).
Hope brakes are pretty, and that's about it. No. I'll give them this: Customer service was second to none!

Revel Bikes Launches Concept Labs to Showcase Experimental Development
The rust on that chain just does me in. Smart looking bike though for the lanky among us.

Video: Jérémy Berthier Celebrates the Art of Dirt Jumps in "Dirty Hands"
First time in a long time I've watched a dirt jump video and not been tempted to fast forward or quit (looking at you, Semenuk with your funky edits). Really nice vid with just enough Aptos Post Office vibes. Thanks!

Sub-31lb Enduro: Haro Debuts Lightweight Carbon Greer and Daley Models
@aceface17: Where the f*ck do you get reasonably priced from? I paid less than this for a top-tier ebike 3 years ago.
