Nope, redbull is a prick of a company to work with. Unless you have a multimillion dollar company behind you, they won't even look at you.

That's the problem with Red Bull and all those corporate goons. They no nothing about the hundreds of extreme sports that they "sponsor." They just pay some other companies related to the field to take care of the event and they collect the money from their logo on Claw or Gee's helmet. That's why it would be nice to avoid getting a Red Bull sponsorship someday Wil, but it'll be hard to avoid the temptation because they'll offer you so damn much money.

Hey Wil, I'm not the one to talk to about getting on the rider's invite list, you have to talk to manager of the MTB department. (I ask for his e-mail, name, phone number, anything)...I can't give that to you, but I'm sure you'd do great at rampage, I have a sweet huffy you could use for it!

Thats bloody crap. Surely it should be based on skill, not whether you know people. I mean anyone who sees this vid knows you'd be good enough. That redbull person sounds like a dick

Yeah, I wasn't surprised, that's usually how redbull acts.
Anyone who has the 08 rampage DVD, check out the "you be the judge feature on here" 8 out of the top 15 crashed, and out of the top ten, only 5 did a trick. I'd go as far as saying 15% of the riders on here could have competed last year and got top 20...
