why do all the people say vod? its a good video, but whats so great about vod? most of the vods suck anyways..

It's just a video that makes you really want to ride, which in my opinion, is worthy of VOD. I do agree though that Pinkbike does choose some iffy VODs.

ehh idk man, the videos that get me excited to go ride, are the videos that kids shoot. kids I can relate to, not some pros that just do ridiculous things that I have no interest in. thats just me.

shawndogger, what are you talking about, this video is so good, it makes you wanna ride cos it is well put together and is really good quality, the song fits and it is worthy of vod because of that. p.s. mitch you are looking so pinned, i really need to get my ass to falkland and take thos pics i said i would

super sick! love the riding and it looks like he was going pretty fast. did you use a tri-pod? and one thing to work on is your zooming cause its a little choppy but otherwise i loved this video. made me want to ride!

Yeah I used a tripod that I normally used as a flash stand so not the sturdiest ever. I might get a video head for my manfrotto tripods so its sturdier and smoother pan/tilting. I know the zooming is pretty horrible cos you have to twist the barrel and I was struggling with doing that in a smooth, fluent motion:P All things to work on for next time

yeah I think so... Type Falkland, Scotland into google maps then the trails are in the forest on the backroad to Lenzie, you go along that road until you find a red fireroad gate. Park up there and push up the fireroad till you see the trails on the left

Nice one dude . will be planning a trip down in a few months. You going to fort william for the reopening off the track. Quite a few of us tain riders are going on the 15 16.

Sony Vegas HD 9.0, still trying to work it all out, I'm not too great at getting the transitions right and also the final render to save for web, never know how to do that

Yeah need to work on my smoothness The occassional head choppages are upsetting, I never realised till I got home and looked at it on the computer but it's because there is a grey opaque barrier along the top and bottom of the screen. I just assumed it was the display but as it turns out that was the framing border. Pretty silly really, should be full black not opaque grey. Missleading. Thanks though.
