Wow Josh, just caught the Nebiso vid.. that is a MUST visit trail... I will power up the GoPro, get some time off from family duty and see if I can't find the way back to wherever I leave the car!!! Great riding. Makes me want to get in the saddle right now, so you are doing something right there mate. Ride on!

Yes mate. Great ride but is much better with 2 cars.. The end point is a long way from the start and its a fairly epic road climb back to the top.. Do-able in a day if you are going to ride solo out and back but be ready for an epic. If you can get a second car leave one at the onsen and enjoy a soak at the end.. Will try and get you the name of the onsen so you not shooting in the dark!

Cheers Josh! Thanks for all the advice mate, will do. I too have been looking around on Google maps for that Onsen, cross referencing it with the Shizen Kaido guide maps I have from Aichi Pref.... www.pref.aichi.jp/kankyo/sizen-ka/shizen/shizenho/MAP/ALL.pdf but nothing yet.
I can see an epic ride from that entry point, up to Nebiso and then down through a section that I rode a few times a while back (Kamikoshi), all the way to Route 153 by the expressway, where there is a bar by a lake believe it or not; definitely a two car trip as you say, but an epic one, and I love epic!
