if you dont have any gears and cant measure the same length cable, then how long is the cable ment to be? like should the same length as my brake cable be allright?

ye aproximately the same
aslong as your cable is longer than the housing then thats fine
dont forget there is always a bit of variation in the amout of cable infront of the handlebars so you dont have to bo too precise just kind of lay the housing on your frame to your liking and then cut it then just thread your cable through and cut to the right length after you have finished
