Yup, you're mistaken. I asked a question, you guys made a big deal out of it. So to make sure I was right I fired off a few emails to make sure I wasn't wrong. Turns out I wasn't, and you're still making a big deal out of it. Here's a much simpler strategy for you. Don't bother responding or making a comment in the first place. If you really want all this BS to stop, well then stop commenting to me. Then I won't have anything left to say. It's really sad that the rider has already said his peace, and I have already made mine with him, yet you guys don't get it, and just keep carrying this on, and on, and on.

A question is the first half of what you originally said "What's with all the sponsor logos?" but by saying "You don't ride for any of those companies." your assuming he doesn't and automatically going against him. Ie. a random act of stupidity and ignorance. I believe Kerstall asked, but if you read on he also says that he looked at said companies websites for the guy because he liked the video and riding, and wanted to see more. Then all the trash talking started. That forced him to defend himself a little. Wouldn't you? The first time I watched this, I also went and looked the guy up. I found nothing as well with these companies. When it comes to Kali Protectives though, he does have a direct line to the company's employees, riders, and owners. They do not know who this kid is, and have never heard of them. This is the truth. The guy from Lama Cycles posted in here that he rides for Lama Cycles which is a distributor. They are not the other companies listed above. These companies help out Lama Cycles. There is a difference. I'm not disputing the logos being there, but there should be something along the lines of "in association with" between the Lama logo, and the others. This way it's clear. Instead it looks like he is claiming to ride directly for these companies. He is not. Lastly, Kerstall didn't make any threats or act like a tough guy in here. So if you are going to claim he's"hiding behind a keyboard", then you need to do two things. The first being to put it in a reply under one of his comments so he can see it. The second is for you to come down here so he can have the opportunity that you want to give him.

I wasn't making any assumptions man. I liked the video, the riding, and the rider. I simply asked why he had all those logos up when he doesn't ride for those companies, and everyone flipped out. That's why I sent a few emails to those companies asking about him. No one has ever heard of him before. It wasn't that I was trying to put the guy down or anything. I just simply thought he was awesome, but couldn't figure out why he had all those company logos in his video, but isn't on their teams. I think that's pretty fair to ask. Yet everyone seems to be offended by it. I also never threatened anyone, or called people names, etc. I'm simply defending myself. Most of these guys firing at me with witless gay jokes and all that realize they have no argument so that's just the next best thing to do. In the end I'm not just going to roll over and leave because some idiot called me a faggot.

Just to clarify....

It was originally stated that we received an e-mail asking if we sponsored Brayden. We never received an e-mail asking if we sponsored Brayden and if we did, we would have said yes. Why? We have been sponsoring Brayden under our grassroots program for awhile and are planning to step things up for him a bit more.

Well, anyone can make a profile under any name on Pinkbike. The guy I talked to (emailed) went by the name of Eric. I suppose maybe I should screen shot that email too. I wouldn't be making anything up. I didn't have ill intentions about this whole thing, I just asked about it. People got on me, so I backed up and proved what I found out. That's the bottom line here. Hell, I know that half of the Dartmoor, specialized, etc. pinkbike accounts are just kids ripping the name and have no affiliation with said companies.

So your, or any one else's word on this site is as good as mine is. Kind of the bottom line here. All I originally wanted to know was why all those logos were on there, but couldn't find a shred of info anywhere else accept for this video. So yes, I fired off some emails and got a few replies. End of story.

Uh oh. I got an email back from both NS and Deity. Guess what? They have no idea who this guy is.
Also, riding for a distributor doesn't put you on that company. Here in the US (as you think it works), if I were to ride for Last Call, I wouldn't be riding for FBM even though I would be on an FBM frame. If I rode for T1P-Plus, I wouldn't be riding for Primo, even though I'm sure I'd be on all Primo parts. If you ride for a company, you ride for a company. If you say you ride for a company, and they say they have never heard of you.B B B B B B B BULLSHIT! Maybe it would be smart to just put the company you do ride for in the video. In this case, the distributor. If I were on a race team for downhill, and our team gets co-sponsors, like Five Ten shoes. That hardly means that I ride for Five Ten

Hello. I am the Lamacycles Team Manager. I can assure you that Brayden is being flowed by us. On ething you have to understand is that our team is sponsored by NS Bikes & Kali Protectives and that we have 3 levels of teams being: Pro, Flow & Grassroots. No where in the video it says that he is riding directly for NS Bikes or Kali Protectives. They are the brands that support our team. Just like 'Chain Reaction Cycles/Intense Team' on the world cup circuit; they also have team sponsors that obvioulsy need some visibility, but it does not mean Chris Kovarik for example was riding for Intense; He was riding for Chain Reaction Cyles/Intense. Just like our friend here Brayden is riding for Lamacycles/NS Bikes. So next time please mind your own buisness.

So he rides for Lamacycles, and NOT Kali Protectives, NS, or Deity. It's great that they support your team. That's awesome in fact! However he does not ride for those other companies.

All I did was point out a fact, and put it in the form of a question. Seems like you guys took it too personal and had a problem with it. So it's your problem not mine. I'm hardly the one being negative here. Perhaps if you would have let the person I asked answer the question, we wouldn't be sitting here filling the comments under his video with all of this. Fact, nor kali, deity, or ns have any clue who this kid is. Plain and simple, he does NOT ride for them. He is a flow rider for Lama Cycles.

I'm riding for Lama cycles Yes, Lama cycles distributes Kali and Ns. So by Promoting these products i'm promoting Lama cycles, And with deity they help me out at a grass roots level. In the end what does it matter. We ride bikes because we love riding bikes! And If I want to promote what I choose to ride then I will! Your more then welcome to think i'm a fake, Your entitled to your own opinions, But until you know me personally you shouldn't be so set on the fact.

I asked a question. Then again, it's obvious that you lack the education to look at this for what it is. It's not my problem. People in here reacted to a question. You ever stop to think that when someone sees a sick video, and then sees all the sponsor logos that said person will look up the websites? That's what this is. I saw the video, thought it was awesome, and then went and looked to see what else I could find. You can imagine how disappointing it was to find out that he doesn't ride for them. So I asked. Not my fault you all reacted the way you did. This only blew up from all the negative comments left to me. Including yours.

As for the anti-American comments... Like I said, I had no choice of where I was born or raised. And by stating that I'm not saying I'd rather live in Canada, but if you are going to hate some one just based on nationality and geographic location... Then again, you're very good at taking things people say and write and twisting them around. In fact, that's all you do. I read your pointless petty arguments and put downs in the forums almost daily. It's like you have no life what so ever. You are usually not only part of the problem rather than the solution, but most of the time are the problem. This whole thing started because I asked a question. I'm still right. I've emailed those companies. He does not ride for them. He rides for Lama Cycles. That's it. The other companies support Lama Cycles. Maybe he could have added that little bit of information in his video. That way, when people see great riding and want to see more they won't be disappointed and waste their time looking on websites of companies who have no clue who the guy is.

That's what started it. I keep my example from Chain Reaction Cycles Intense. Just take a look at their videos; they put ALL of their sponsor's logos even though no one in the team is actually directly riding for them and we are talking World Cup level and really big companies here.

So before you start making your OWN rules on what or which logos of companies should be displayed or not, just think about it first. Its OBVIOUS that the companies supporting the Lamacycles team want their logos in that video, they want visibility! That said, next time just shut the f*ck up instead of wasting everyone's time trying to explain this to you and 'answering your question'. Hope you feel better now.

Also, riding for a distributor doesn't put you on that company it makes you better then me. Here in the US (as you think it works), if I were to ride for Last Call which I don't, I wouldn't be riding for FBM even though I would be on a 12 inch cold cut. If I were on a race team for downhill which I'm not because I'm a nerd, and our team gets 12" cold cuts in the bum hole, like Five Ten Times a Day. That hardly means that I am Straight.

I'm pretty sure stephane (who is the team manager, in case you haven't got it through your mind just quite yet...TEAM MANAGER) knows a lot more about the team he mages, the company he represents, and the rider HE put on the team, than you. I don't think you should be making instigative and dismissive statements such as "he's not on the website". (This is referring to nsbikes.com) Maybe you should check a little background info; did you know that a previous lamacycles rider named simon leclerc is still on the website? From what I've been told, he left the team just after the summer season..if nsbikes didn't find time to update their info about an ex rider (pro rider i might add) in 3 months...why would they have done it for a flow rider in ONE WEEK?

^that was a question by the way...in case you need an example.

I could say one too many things to counter your incorrect attitude...
maybe instead of being a doucher..you should take part in something like constructive criticism, or a positive attitude...or ask a question like "why does he have the logos of the distro company AND NS bikes/kali/deity.

This will (and i guarantee you, someone else will agree) help lessen the negative connotation that america's populous has been given.

Blah, you are an idiot. Flat out. It is what it is, and that's it. wrap it up any way you choose, but the bottom line is that I DID do some digging and research. Plus I know a lot of people at one of the mentioned companies. He DOES NOT ride for them. He associated with them through Lama Cycles ONLY. Go ahead ans email them yourselves. You'll get the same response. What the video should have read (so people don't get the wrong idea), was the Lama Cycles logo, and then put in print "in association with", then the rest of the logos. This way it won't appear that he rides directly for those other companies. It's pretty simple.

Actually, I wasn't wrong. It was childish behavior such as you are currently displaying that inspired me to actually do the research. As I've said a few times now, I liked the video, I liked the riding, and the rider. I saw the logos in the video, so I went to the sites to find more. There wasn't, and he didn't appear on any of their team rosters. So I asked. I didn't (and still don't) have a problem with trying to find out more info on a kick ass rider. Apparently you, and everyone else does. If it weren't for all the childish comments, and cracks to me, I would have nothing to reply back to. In fact, I've even talked to the rider in the video and it was all good. It just so happens to be people like yourself who are actually the ones going out of their way to perpetuate this ridiculous arguing. Exactly why this is dragging on for days now and filling up the guys video comments with nonsense.

Well, I got suspended for arguing from this comment thread. Can't argue fact. My question stands on the logos thing. Here is an email that was forwarded to me from Kali Protectives Feel free to email, or call them yourselves. Hopefully this will put an end to this nonsense. If not, please feel free to call me more names and act immature. I'm not responding anymore. I asked a question, was met with negativity, was able to back up the reason why I was asking, so there is nothing else left.
