I watched an edit on youtube that tried to trick a pro photographer as a judge by letting a pro and a fake photographer do the same shoot. The fake photographer always checked his lcd after each shot while the pro doesnt bother as much...I found it interesting how you check the lcd after every shot proving that just because someone tells you what is pro or thinks they are pro doesnt mean they are pro, I'd be checking the lcd every time too Wink Thanks for the behind the scenes!

It depends what I'm doing. In this shot we were trying to copy something fairly closely, and Eric was art directing the whole thing. Normally with a client or art director that wants to watch I'll send them up with an iPad and shoot to that, then they can give their input and direction. If this was just me shooting a person for a portrait, or model shoot or whatever then I would rarely look at the lcd. It kind of ruins the flow of the shoot. But with product shooting I look at the photos very closely on a big screen and then make changes to get what I want. Does that make more sense?

I was just on the phone with Sadie...healing vibes to her torn ACL. Hope she gets back to digging soon. Awesome gal.

Really impressive. I think a lot of people take your work for granted... Lots of time and effort to get the shot.

Thanks! I ran the GoPro for this entire shoot, over 35 minutes of shooting and adjusting and shooting. I included every shot in the video, just took out all the filler of us talking about stuff and trying to figure out how to make it better...
