I will never forgive Crater Cycles for screwing up my once in a lifetime vacation. I had my entire FIRST day devoted to a shuttle tour reserved with Crater from the top of the volcano.
The day of he just decided he wanted to cancel, after I'd reserved his serviecs and a bike. The wife & kids were jet lagged and it was my one shot at riding paradise. Total slacker mentality and a day I'll never get back.
Props to those that got to ride it. But for others thinking of riding there, don't count on the owner of Crater to show up.

I got skunked out of my booked and paid in full Maui trip because our 4-month-old daughter didn't have a passport. Birth certificate yes, passport no. No airplane for us...
We drove into the US for an Oregon trip instead - funny no problem to drive across the border with just the birth certificate...
