Going to ago against the grain, and say this was pretty average and boring.
Bring on the negative props.

My grain is with yours...
What camera are you on pira? Because in the shots when you're zoomed in you've got some insanely huge chromatic abberation going on.

just a bit slow... Good riding and alright edit... just wasn't feeling it guys...
Maybe it's because i watched yesterdays vod before watching this.
how ever, that high line around that tight corner was sick!

In my experience, if you're gonna video trains of riders... Make sure they're all going the same speed. It seemed as if i was watching the first 2 riders in a train then waiting for the 3rd guy to come into the frame? Col editing thoufh

third guy was just the same speed. just behind them. but i defo agree. makes the vid sooo much slower

Yeah the edit was good I just think the terrain was too flat in some of the shots - The blurred effect when zoomed in was caused by a wide angle lens?

It's a 3 rider train what the heck guys this is awesome! (I'm not sarcastic I really thought this was cool)

"bikingpark"-Instead of Criticising the video, give reasons, tell them what they should improve on. Yes i also didnt enjoy that video, but it's deffinately not the "WORST "f*ckKING VIDEO". Perhaps you should use the three bulletpoints to make a better comment. And just for you i copied them at the end of this
1. add additional on topic info to the article that other users will find useful
2. add props and support/encouragement for the video/photo/article/product/story
3. add and explain constructive criticism for the video/photo/article/product/story

I dislike when people bash on VODs but... I can't help but feel this video is here because of product placement and not on its quality.

it wasnt the worst video and tey can ride pretty good but like that was one of te most sellout vods iv ever seen. tere was no good reason for that to be vod

I didn't hate the video, it certainly didn't amaze me, but i couldn't make a better video. BUT.... I feel the need to say this. "Da Bomb" has got to be the worst name for a company ever. I have no knowledge of their products,it could be great stuff, but it sounds like a 9 year old named the company in 1996 and they decided to stick with it. Sorry.

They could use a more attractive name, but they're bikes are starting to look really nice. You have to admit that.

In the past they have made more generic looking frames. These ones look really nice, if I do say so myself.

There were a lot of shots with water or something on the lens. You should wipe it or maybe you did this on purpose because it created a cool effect at 2:59. It makes the riders shirts glow when they ride by the spot of water. You can't see the water in the shot because its zoomed in. You can see the water appear and disappear from zooming in and out at 1:29.

these days people make movies using the exact same camera angles as everyone else. nothing special, creating a boring cinematic experience. couple of tricks, edit your video to music. lay down your music track that fits, then edit to the music. don't use slow motion during boring or uninteresting shots. Slow motion is used to capture something that is difficult to do or just spectacular, something that needs to be slowed down to show the rider, the concentration, the skill, that is required. To help capture the moment. pan and zoom techniques are helpful when shooting on a section of trail that is very difficult of fast, otherwise it becomes boring, and those couple of extra seconds on the film add up and bring down the quality of the film. And most importantly, edit more than once.

Its a good video. however i find it hard to understand why it gets VOD when video's like this: www.pinkbike.com/video/167171 don't get awarded anything even though it has more favorites and views than a lot of VODS and it probably took more time & effort therefore the overall product is far better... Just Sayin.

I was kinda hoping something big was going to happen. The lead rider was at least throwing a couple of whips when he could. The formation of the three riders were not tight enough, IMO -- namely the last rider. Having three riders ride tightly is hard - it's hard enough with just two!
There were some good shots - one I liked was the slow-mo showing the tires digging into the soft dirt/mud. You could see the forks compressing as they were pushing into the turn.
To be VOD, I think it not only has to be about the riding but also the video angles and edits. The video needs to not only capture the riding but the terrain and the environment that they're riding in. I didn't get or feel that. To me it looked like someone was just standing on the trail and just shooting the camera.
In the end, it didn't inspire me to go out and ride. For me, that's what a VOD needs to do.
This is not to take away from the riders. I think their camera failed them. Hopefully they'll do another.

This VOD blows ! It is apparent that vod's are becoming product advertisement . I personally prefer the VOD's to consist of homey's shredding their favorite local lines or a edit of different places they traveled over the course of a season. There are some redneck elk hunters somewhere looking for their stolen hunting suits !

This clip is very sweet though, same riders. It shows off the riding conditions here in Sweden during winter!

Good shooting, but mediocre riding. By that standard we should all be factory sponsored riders...and the 3rd guys pants are waaay too tight.
