Marzocchi Dj fork Peg Mod, a "How-to".

Pretty much the simplest way that I have found to mod a Marzocchi Dj fork for peg use. There are many kits out there and variations of how to get a peg on your Marz fork, but most are really complicated and require cutting and grinding. What I have come up with is simple, and very effective.

 This is perfect my friend has an ancient mongoose bmx that doesn't work hopefully is 14mm but with the hat washer , I don't need to cut a chunk outa the peg? But will it still move?

 Oh, lol I got mine from one of those department store BMX bikes. They usually have superduper long unsealed axles which is perfect!

 Why not glue some kind of metal plate on that side of the fork? Super hard ware on that side plus I don't know how thick the walls are...

 I don't think glue would hold up for more than one or two hits.

 this is awesome, I wonder if you could do a similar thing with an argyle. Is that some fork leakage I see ?

 I did, but you can't use a 14mm axle. got to be a 10mm

 where can i get that 20mm axle gary? mines is the black one only 1 side screws off cant seem to find one online either

 they both screw off, but you've got to make sure you don't undo the pinch bolts first, otherwise it'll slide out.

 eh my pinch bolts are fucked, they got stripped so i had to drill them out from the side so half the bolt is still in there cant get it out

 the ID of my axle is too narrow to fit the 14mm axle through for some reason. not sure why.

 Some of the newer Dj forks have thicker 20mm axles.

 I suppose you can, but a hat washer fills in the space better and makes it more stable.
