Haha, the filming was sooo sick but the first 3 mins. could be cut down to 30 seconds.... HYPE is the only thing keeping this edit in high regards... unless you really believe an edit composed of some sick DH, comp. footage and half dime-a-dozen-dirt-jumping-that's-gone-on-too-long is worthy as best edit of the year... You can neg. prop this if you want but this edit was nothing special and if anything was WAY too long to be something I'd enjoy over and over again.... but hey pinkbike is full of trend followers so whatever works to the advantage of more views! PS. If you're too dull to discern what I'm saying.... The filming was insanely sick but everything else was nothing new...

@ scott-townes, the contest is for video of the year, which is mostly the video quality like filming and editing. its not rider of the year contest. in my opinion hype is one of the key things in a great video.
