In my opinion, that was by far the best video in the entire contest. However, I think that the winner of the contest should be then most deserving, and not the one with the best video. These guys all have sick bikes already, so why do they need a new giant frame? Just think of Felipe over in Portugal (Supermarket bike shredder) who has snapped his frame and has nothing to ride! My point is, this whole contest is biased. The people with the best equipment, editing software, etc are going to win, and no offense, but personally i don't think they deserve to. Felipe, in my opinion, should win because this sport is, after all, just about having fun, and theforestcrew is obviously already having a blast on thier $4,000 bikes, so Giant, give that frame to somewone who could really get some good fun and use from it like felipe.

It's a contest and they deserve to win, they put there time and passion into to making films about a subject they love, mountain biking like myself, a group of young guys doing stuff for the sport and getting other interested in the sport from the films they do, no one knows how hard they had to work to get there bikes or equipment,(part time jobs and so on ) dose it matter?. dose this mean that some one with the skills or equipment should not enter a competition, at my race series should I not give prizes to the 1,2,and 3 place riders and give prizes to those riders who have the least expensive bikes instead just because they have taken part? Keep it up guys. Mr Bling, www.facebook.com/MrBlingsRaceSeries

I 100% agree with MrBling. This is a video contest, not a sob story contest. Every contestant will be judged on the merits of their video entry and how it relates to the essence of the contest, not their financial background or social demographic. At the end of the day the the success of a video is not determined by how much expensive camera equipment was used to film it or how expensive the riders bike was, it comes down to SKILL. If you have the skill to compose a good image and to cut together a good story, you could film the whole thing on a camera phone and cut it together in Windows movie maker and it could easily still be better than a video made by someone with the best equipment! I hate when people default to the whole "you have better equipment than me, therefore you have an unfair advantage" argument, it's about the skill of the person operating the camera or bike, not the equipment itself! Secondly, I have to say that GoRideYoBike, how effing rude are you posting this comment on someone elses video entry that they worked long and hard at? Sheesh I even feel guilty drawing more attention to your shitty comment, but hey, ignorance has to be addressed.
