dat vid is so dum!!!!!! he goes shopping for most of the flippen time!! Madder

GoPros have a shutter as they can be alternatively used as a camera.
  • + 9
The shutter is open while the video is recording, so it's not the same rig making the sounds.. it's likely an SLR that was close to the rig shooting the video.. Doesn't seem like it was filmed on a GoPro, as the image isn't warped by the wide-angle fish eye lens. Fun to watch though. looks like a fun place to ride!

^what if its a gopro2 with adjustable fov?

Click on their pinkbike name. Faultline shoots with a Panasonic HPX170, Canon 7D, Canon 60D and a Nikon D3 for stills.
  • + 3
Hardly. There's like a couple of minutes of him in a warehouse that's not really " most of the flippen time "

shrockie: the shutter is not "open while the video is recording". instead, is opens and closes at a very high rate creating a fast sequence, which is then played together at 30/60fps to make a moving picture.

 Tophzila: you are "dum"

 was that cypress?
  • + 1
The only bits that are shot on a gopro are the shots facing them whilst driving the car and the first ~ 8 seconds of riding...... I think.

Beautiful and fun! Great soundtrack, and I love the sponsorship plug at the beginning.

What trail was this? It looked too dry to be Vancouver!

You're welcome! I've lived in North Van for 8 years and never rode Cypress! I always rode Fromme and Seymour. After viewing that video, I will have to make the effort next time I visit because that looked fun!
