You had my sappy heartstrings yanked with wonderful world bro......with a VH exit !!
Great looking places, weather and ride !!
If it still feels too plush for you, you can stiffen up the compression circuits on the shock and fork.....Check into that, if you haven't already !
Cheers !

The bloke i'm seeing is an ex motorcross engineer, so your train of thought bro? His missus just had a baby, so I'm off up to see him in 3 weeks. He's putting a stiff spring on her, seeing how I ride around the car park, then may do a custom damping job for me also. I'm running it stiff over soft, going 35% at least on sag, so that is way too soft. Spring change first, and see how she flows...

Motocross engineer......good.....but not a bicycle.....he most likely knows fluid dynamic concepts related to suspensions and can get it sorted for what you need it to do.
The sag amount is decent for going DOWN.....but if you are trying to pedal it around....a bit mushy. Go
20% on the sag and the compression circuits around 60-75% firm and I think you will be pretty happy pedaling it around. And if you are so inclined to bash over a drop off or off the roof of the pub....the valving circuits will blow off and absorb the hit.

Thank f*ck you put on VH bro....i thought i was gonna get a vid of you and the Spesh making love or the like hahahaha....how do you find the grip shift????
- + 1
lmao !!! Grip shift is super smooth, very quick with a 1:1 ratio.....she's as fast clicking down through the gears, and just as quick on the way up...no pause or slackness, very responsive !!! No soggy sag on the cables on this baby. I always thought this was the best set-up ever since my Cannondale Super V-sl 800. I run them on her, no problams at all?

really glad to hear this...will be setting my grip shifter too for next summer, been wanting to try it all summer but was too lazy to set it up...the only thing that's still scaring me are the ghost shifts but I never had any problems when I was using the older models on my old Kona...can't wait...

Bars were too wide for that section, and it's a public path leading up to the canal. Imagine me hitting kids/dogs on the way through? lol. Soon as you comitt to that section, there is no stopping !!!

Following my buddy over a rock at Whistler - I thought I could roll it - I was gravely mistaken. There was a 2ft drop I pogo sticked my front wheel, flipped over the handlebars and landed on my face. I saw birds. Not funny...I was in full on protection so nothing broke - I do have hairline fractures from collarbone, left shoulder (as well as major muscle strain) and four heavily bruised and possibly fractured ribs. All on my left side.
