I LOVE THIS SHIT

Taking off at 5:30 with lights on is something i am not used to but fun just the same.I wanted to get some climbing practice in before the next race and this trail provides some serious steep climbs on rocky loose singletrack.

nice training run bro !!!...it's been a while since the last vid but you look faster than ever in this one with tons of flow, looking good man !!!...wtf, the zed is not giving you back proper love ???...6:13 aaaaaaah fakkk, lol...how early was this, having to use your head light ???...btw, nice touch at the end, lmao

Thanks bro.I feel much faster in the right places and i think the chain dropping a few times and the flu had me nursing the bike a bit.Im not looking at speed but flo and bike control....the zed needs some love mate,it had been belted hard and is far from being as pretty as the day i got it.It was filmed at 5:30am but only need the light for 10 min or so but it adds to the fun.....yeah that was one of my phlem vomits lol....it was the least obvious one i had on film plus i was trying to stay positive and said "well that should make me better" knowing i was f*cked but had it in my mind i was ok......thanks for the comment bro.....

phlem vomits, damn that's sexy, lolol....do you think the durability of the zed is the cause of those troubles ???...might also be the chain or simply a good adjustment...
  • + 1
mate it needs adjusting i think......i have set aside some time on the weekend to give her some love....but damn she has copped a good flogging and has chunks out of it and scratches.....cant fault it really bro, plus i just discovered my cassette is a little "wonky"....lots of things to try out to see what the problem is ..

you flipped your bike real quick.. but i saw a bottom roller.. donno if the top has a roller too ?
i have the same sort of guide on my commuter.. and even skipping jumping curbs the thing loses the chain..
if you have no gears in front..and you loose the chain..its the damn guide.. Blank Stare

oww and that was one fierce workout there buddy !

it really is a guide meant for a 2 spd front however i run a single ring......it was a worn front ring and a bit too much sag in the rear combo causing this issue....new guide on the way despite fixing the issue....it is very annoying lol....yep i live for these early morning rides

mate i love trying new rides out in the dark,i have to trust my bike and my stamina and all round riding abillity....yeah its all about fun mate and i cant get enough of this xc stuff esp when the down sections can get pretty gnarly and loose....MTB is just such a great way to clear the mind and remind the soul of how lucky we all are to have been chosen by the MTB Gods to ride....thanks for watching bro

thats what happened to me mate.I was doing a lot of DH and had a really bad crash.I got spooked on jumps and realised that i needed to re-think the way i ride.Sold the DH bike and now im in love with riding again.I would love to take on a big DH track but i no longer have the desire to crash big haha...XC is great mate, its a real test of the body and mind and really knowing your bike.....good luck with your future riding

Finally I found 18 minutes time to watch you riding the steep climbs, looks like hard work brother!
  • + 1
Brother it was hard alright but i just love the climbs as its a real test of bike and rider. It was a bit long but i wanted to show my brothers around the world that our crew ride up too not just down....thanks for watching
  • + 1
On the climbs Birgit is always faster than me. I guess it's a matter of weight. But when she has to stop and push her bike I can still go on climbing.
  • + 1
Awesome practice bro!!! I feel it's tough from your wheeze. keep riding bro.
  • + 1
yeah it was tough bro.Just a flu taking hold the night before didnt help......thanks mate
  • + 1
By the sound of it, it was a really hard fun training you did! tup
  • + 1
i think having the flu had a bit to do with it hahaha......i try to push myself every ride so i get the best experience i can and when i get back to the car park i always feel content with my effort. It was a tough ride though with a lot less energy than usual and a running nose the whole way which meant i could only breath through my mouth......thanks for watching mate
  • + 1
i respect you courage bro, i'm such lazy guy when it comes to xc alone. lol
  • + 1
RideOn mate! I would love to ride this with you!
  • + 1
you would love it mate.It is quite technical on the climbs and there is hardly any time to switch the mind off as it is non stop action ....
  • + 1
 I love non stop action!
