Jon Television - Into The Wild

Don't give your entire $24.000 savings account to charity, abandon all your possessions and hitchhike to Alaska without telling anyone, but for the love of God, don't waste all of your precious time fighting over wheel-sizes, strange marketing moves or economic materialism. Make sure most if it is time well spent: on your bike, in the wild.

After the comment deletion from yesterday's WC results I'm not surprised pink bike pushed a pro specialized vod. Pink bike is a business and their users are the product they're selling.

Can't you just enjoy a good video without bringing politics into it?

ya pb edited my comment and literally re-wrote it and submitted it as me and that heckler add, I have lost any respect for pb.

Would have been better with some Eddie Vedder from the movie soundtrack.

fun trail and great riding but I could do without all the manuals. it's like riding down the sidewalk no-handed or standing on the top tube. 'oooh look what I can do!' other than that I loved it.

Awesome vid and this vid makes my dilemma worse to sell the dh bike and just have one awesome AM bike or keep my current AM bike and v10 hmmm...
  • + 8
keep the DH bike and the AM bike. the more the merrier! why have one bike when you could have 2??
  • + 1
Because it takes more space and more douchebag friends are going to want to borrow it when you ride Smile But yes i agree, i have multiple bikes for different purposes.

Wow, awesome. I'm guessing you own some nice lenses then. Lenses can make such a huge difference. Great video

Yea for sure, lenses is key. Light & composition > Lenses > Camera body

Obnoxious hipster agenda, but incredible edit. Damn I wish you hadn't tainted this edit with that description.
  • + 2
 what does that even mean?
  • + 2
The "moto" is alright; but hey, you are riding on the product of the time and all that burnt money any way.
We are all trying to get away on our bikes, but get a torn tube in alaska and you are carrying back your bike all the way home instead of the other way round.
Its cool think that way anyway.
The production is great, edited smoothley and the sound design was helping quite a lot good work and the music choice was perfect.

I was mostly complaining about the economic materialism line, because it is pretentious, trendy (hence my hipster comment), and just absurd for people on mint carbon AM bikes, filming with an expensive camera. And I would bet it was edited on a macbook pro... And I agree the edit is incredible, which is why I was bummed that it was tarnished with that comment.
