2:01 was crazy, that perpendicular front tire backwards slide thingy. and the way he lands with both wheels down at the same time made everything look so clean, mad skills on this guy.

anyone care to explain to me how he can fakie/roll bacwards/whatever but not pedal backwards to keep it rolling, yet can still pedal forwards? is this some fancy freehub mechanism i be smelling?

that's a BMX hub, he rides MTB spacing and the hub looks like an NS rotary hub. But nice find, NS might have adapted that system to MTB

cool stuff any way. i remember a few years ago a guy at crank works (i forget who) was using a cassette with a sproket that had been filled down on the inside so that when that gear was selected he could roll backwards without having to reverse pedal, it also meant he couldnt pedal forward in that gear either. I wonder if prehaps that what inspired this?
