I have only been there once in 2010 and loved it but was the trails were lacking expected jump and drop lines!
This was my buddies first time there, he let loose his natural style and went off course some to make this video! He didn't use any wooden kickers just his natural wacky riding but I agree this video is giving Fujimi way too much credit as an epic bike park, ahhahahhahha

No worry you haven't missed anything since 2010, trails are the same. Just hope one day they will open their eyes and listen what rider wants and what other bike parks (out of japan) build.

Awesome! Do you have cable car or lift access?
In here it's pretty hard to build... it's like one group build something and another destroy it... those guys really dont get the sens of "mtb community". So we are mainly riding natural terrain. fast, steep and not many jumps.

The nearest resort is about 3-4 hours away but the trails are not worth the drive, in my opinion!
We are fortunate to be in a rural enough area, the locals have let us use one section of the mountain.
From top to bottom its about a 30-40 minute DH. The trail is naturally steep and fast, one of the great things about Japan. Then we have broken it into 4 sections. All featuring jumps, drops, wall rides and smooth to super rocky single track.
Then we also live in an area that is surrounded by rural mountains to ride and climb at leisure.
So, the one time I did go to Fujimi, I felt like I was cheating! hahahahha
Just I was very unprepared for how simple the trials were there in Fujimi!
I have herd many good things about Fuji-Ten and Izumi parks.
Have you tried either?

OK! In here we can ride the cable car to go to the trail. That’s great!

Fujimi really need to step up. Tracks are not fun at all. They have everything to make something great! They just need someone to drive them in the right direction. If they had better trails, I’d go often there even if it’s 3h30 drive.

Like Fabe said Fukuizumi is rubbish. Jumps are nice but the cost of going there and only being able to ride 10 DH runs of 2min each is not worth it at all!
Local tracks here are more fun. But you guys look to have way more nicer jumps lol.

We have had trails with big ladder jumps and drops in the past.(now all rotted away)
Our current trail is long with lots of areas to build and have fun.
However, its not a resort.
I too like local tracks as well because you can session lines as you climb up and have more connection with the land.
Im from California and 2 years ago when back on vacation I rode BigBear.
It had just opened 3 DH trails. It blows Fujimi out of the water for technical lines, jumps and drops.
However, I felt like to had to rush to get in as many lines as possible, hahahhahahha
I concur fujimi and all the other resorts have the potential to be awesome.
Just need a little more effort from a positive direction.

Really nice how they make a shitty resort like fujimi that has no jumps, no drops, basically nothing fun... Look so epic in video... Thx to the skill of the rider and maybe hidden wooden kickers this looks good.
It's time Fujimi start building real shit. Not just offer fire road trails with burms.
