There is a slight difference between beeing ironic in a way that can be interpreted funny, and just beeing a prick...figure it out mate..

Quality vid. I've always liked Semenuk for his audacious abilities on wheeled devices and over time I've really grown to respect him as an athlete. When you combine natural ability and competitive desire great things happen. That's what keeps him one step ahead of the game.
This course had a smell of Bearclaw Invitational about it- splendid work by McGarry and the builders.

Seems like his manager was putting a bit of pressure on him to do a second run. Not hard to tell he had a head injury.

I agree with @roadrasher. He wasn't telling him he had to go do it, but he wasn't giving him any advice either. A good manager would have said what R-Dog said at the end there, that it's just the start of the season and it's not worth risking something like that if you can't even see. Seemed to have lack support or sympathy, at least in the parts that were shown on film.

He shouldn't have been gutted. He should be thankful, that he didn't crash even harder doing that truckdriver off the drop not being able to see his left hand...! Huge balls and huge drive, but sometimes it just seems a bit stupid what these guys are doing. Same with WC racers - riding with concussions etc. For now they'll be ok, but then when they're 40 or 50 things may get much worse. Don't get me wrong, though - I am full of respect for the motivation they all represent.
