 shit, looks hurt.
so as a beginner rider, I'm trying to learn something from this video, cause what happened to him is always my concern when I'm taking some bigger drops - dive nose.
So what did he do wrong when he was taking the drop or jump there? not enough speed? or lean the body back too early?

 i'd say a combo of going a bit too slow (to drop it), not letting off the brakes, and not transferring his body weight to the rear effectively.

 I broke my ankle this February and put my foot back into place. It's a weird thing to explain, but in my situation I looked at my dangling foot and though "I can fix this". I bet that's how he felt too lol. It's pretty disappointing when you put it back and you still can't move it though lol.

 This is one tough guy, I would never be able to even try and attempt to pull my finger back into place after a crash like that.
