SWITCH - A quick-change direct mount chainring system.

Switch was developed to reduce the cost of replacement chainrings, increase compatibility with new offsets and to make the process of changing a chainring much faster and simpler. Rings can be replaced in less than a minute with only a 4mm allen key, without removing your crank. ALL the Major Mounting Standard, Sizes and Offsets in both Round and Oval (130 Direct Mount Ring Combinations)

Interesting... Will chainrings break as easily? Seems like the Radius to the bolt is smaller meaning more leverage and potential to snap the bolts. I would be interested in this system but the crank mount is solid for years while I snap a CR 104 bolt every few months on my dirt jumper.

@siderealwall2 From the article thread; "The ring drives directly on the carrier on an area quite large compared with a standard BCD mount ring. The bolt does not actually carry any of the pedalling load just holds the parts together and acts as an anti-rotation feature to keep the ring from being able to backpedal out of position"

Interesting... Weird thing is that I have never broken any CR's or bolts while pedaling, it has always been from high-g chainslaps or heavy landings.
