@VorsprungSuspension Could you by theory just remove the Countermeasure Spring? I have one in My deluxe and it makes a soft knocking sound if I rapidly push down on shock. But when I look at its location it seems it really doesn't need to be there and isn't doing a whole lot of anything when it comes to its job

Thanks

You could but you may start noticing more of a topout too. The theory is that it balances the IFP charge and the preload that applies on the damper, but they could have instead realistically balanced that out with the air sleeve design anyway - or a very close approximation of. It is better executed than it was on the Vivids though, to be fair.

@VorsprungSuspension on the Monarch Plus, does the main piston shim stacks on either side affect both the rebound and compression? If so, what is the purpose of the shim stack on the blue valve on the reservoir? I was under the impression that the rebound piston on the bottom will have a check valve for the compression side that opens freely during extension.
