Crashing is part of mountain biking.
He put his hands out. After you crash many times you learn to tuck and roll. I call it the turtle.
That looked nasty I'm glad he did not land directly on his head and I hope that does not stop him from riding in the future.

 Yes, I went to see him this morning before my morning class! He has a sore neck and shoulder but nothing bad, he is a kid and bounced back! hahahahaha Boy it was a nasty fall but Im very relieved he doesn't seem to be scared! RideOn!

 Thank you greatly buddy! I hope my shoulder is ok enough to start jumping and having fun again! So far Im feeling great after a year off! Thank you, he is doing good and just feels sore for now! Im sure he must be in pain but I saw him today and he looked good!

 Ouch is correct!!! Ooops! Yes, I calmed him down and we cleaned all his wounds, so when we were talking it was about 30mins after he rested. Thank you for the good words!
