Look my British Comrades,while im not going to say the riding was sick i sure aint gonna sit here and slag the guy off like u are all doing,did ure mum never tell u that if u dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all!!! Im sure the guy is a sweet rider,and while this vid may not display his whole abilities he seems pretty competent on a bike. Im sure if u had sat for a few hours editing a vid (after spending what im sure is the best part of a few days filming) and u gog VOD you wouldnt be best amused if loads of people came on and slagged it off. So why not focus ure attentions to Creating a VOD worthy vid of ure own,then when u do lets see how its recieved on here by the guys u have just ripped.

Why is everyone crying about this Video? It was filmed and edited in like two weeks and we didn't even include all the best SoCal trails, yet it still got VOD. Ryan has a lot of potential and I know he will have more VOD's to come

honestly, if your looking to promote yourself, this might be the place to do it, but companies dont go scanning pinkbike to see new riders, its not worth their time. if you really want a sponsorship you have to talk up the reps, get in touch with your local bike shops and figure out a way that they can put you into a grassroots program.( grassroots is an amateur sponsorship that helps riders progress by giving them discounts and tech support on bikes and products) after you have possibly proven yourself to a sponsorer they will possibly put you on a full factory team where you race on the national circut or the world cup circut, but this is only if you have proven urself. looking at your riding in this video and being a rider on the norco grassroots team i would say that you have potential to race grassroots for sure for almost any company, and possibly over time you will grow as a rider with skills and abilities to become a world cup rider but you hav to put yourself into the companies dont go out hoping their going to scout you, thats not how i got sponsored and probably not how you are either, sorry to say it those are just a few tips for you. if you have any questions about anything for sponsorship just gimme a shout

no dude, i have made copies of this onto dvd's and im actuall in the process of getting some sponsorship from a local bike shop right now, i just uploaded this to see what others thought, but i cant explain our trails here, ill get some more footage of races and our more tech trails, just wait and youll see

Well i think its pretty good, mind you the video looks as if it is sped up. I'm not saying you are slow, I think its the track thats doing that, it doesnt seem steep enough, but your riding itself is great and thats all that counts!!!

Why is it that everyone that thought this kids vid was good gave him negative props, and gave postive props to everyone that said it sucked or it was too slow or flat. Sure it mite have been, but hes still out riding and Having fun. You guys should lay off or apologize. You wouldnt like it if some one critiqued all your riding pictures and/or videos.

Speaking for The Amercains. Southridge is slow. Its that plain and simple. Yes I have ridden ther before and its slow. This is nothing compared to the NORBA races that use to be held at summit. So when you thing your fast and ballsy beacuse you race a t southridge only think again. Summit was faster and true DH racing.

Yeah i guess im damn lucky living in scotland (only 2hours from Fort William WC track and 20mins from Innerleithen,another WC worthy track! and numerous other sick trails! ) Tell me tho,whats the tracks like in NorCal? as in the San Fran area and Santa Cruz? im looking to move accross that way in a few years time.

I've never made a video of myself for Promotional Purposes or posted a bunch of riding photos of myself, because I've never claimed to be worth watching. This guy obviously thinks he's worth watching and wants us all to think so too, as well as obviously trying to generate some commercial interest in himself.
It's a pretty average home movie, with some really flat tracks and some good riding that is not yet at a commercially exploitable level when compared to the upcoming amateurs on the global DH scene.

If you look at 2:06, it's obvious that American DH is boss. The guy in the skinsuit out for a regular ride on "flat" track. What kind of moron wears lycra on anything but a World Champs track? Me? Duncan Riffle, Chris Boice, Shaun Palmer, Cody Warren, Mitch Ropelato, Chris heath, ME, Kevin Aiello, Neko Mulally. You could not hang with any of these guys at a Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or California track where the dirt is not all perfectly prepped by rain and trail crews. You tracks are weak compared to out gnarly rough, sand, dust, blown out, steep as third street in Laguna trails.

Fort Bill aint steep. Well, not in comparison. We have some tracks in Wales and all across the UK that don't go above 45 degrees all the way down. There's tracks at my local that you can stand on a ledge, reach out and touch the side. We don't have the best technical riders because of riding flat tracks. Sure we only have small hills but they are mega steep.
