 i was tought that sharp quick movements with weights is bad for you and could cause injury, is that wrong, or is this guy not pro?

 While you do want to establish form and control first, life is dynamic and you do want to train dynamically. Always training slow will not make you fast and most riders want to get faster on the trail. Sorry if there was some confusion...
