Panorama Resort hosted the Dunbar Summer Series Canada Cup this weekend - the track was fast, rowdy, and dusty as f*&k. 165 racers showed up to take a chance on the newly improved course including World Cup Racer Troy Brosnan - who *spoiler alert* had the fastest time of the day!
Next up is the Dunbar Summer Series BC Cup at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden this weekend.
~ The Dunbar crew, and friends, use the track walk for bonding time. ~
~ Nationals Camp, Matt Beer, gets rowdy in one of the many loose, deep corners. ~
~ Despite one little girl who cried the whole way around the track - and still finished, the Shimano Kids' Race was a success. ~
~ Thank you to all of the volunteers who make events like this possible! We had everyone from parents to winter sport enthusiasts to resort staff and we are so grateful for all of your help! ~
~ Tory Brosnan shaving seconds off his time in the 'Cliffs of Insanity' section. ~
~ The winner of the Intense M16, all proceeds from for the raffle go to the Love for Lola fund. ~
~ Alone in her category all season, but killing it just the same, Piper Allman was joined by Chris Kovarik and Troy Brosnan on the podium to receive her medal. ~
~ The overall Canada Cup leaders with one race to go - Clair Buchar and Sam Thibault. ~
~ The fastest (non-pro) times of the day won watches from Momentum - Daniel Shaw and Florence Belanger-Jones. ~
~ Top three elite women - Claire Buchar (1st), Jaime Hill (2nd), and Michelle Griffiths (3rd). ~
~ Top five elite men - Troy Brosnan (1st), Matt Beer (2nd), Forrest Riesco (3rd), Sam Thibault (4th), and Rob Fraser (5th). ~
~ "Win or lose we're on the booze". ~

Why would steve smith come out?Canada cup series means nothing for him. He's had a bunch of injuries and is just getting back on track. I'm sure he is resting, recovering so he can get back to 100%.

If it makes you feel any better @wallacem Finn won the whip off at Silver Star in 2013 as a 13 yr old and never got mentioned either. Im sure if Logan wins at Crankworx, plus wins the Garbo and the Canadian Open he will get 'a 3 page spread'.
