Yes we do!! The Kowa brand is a light very popular fork for freeride DH!
The also have been using the kashima coating for years. Fox will be using this year.
Ride on!
Really!! Yea they look killer, just never had any myself!
5 years ago everyone had Kowas, but now the bigger companies like fox and Marzocchi have taken over!
I find most of the trails here in japan to be full of hikers, mostly old couples. We have adopted a piggy back style with one of the group going ahead with a radio, and calling back safe. Then we all move down and so on. Plus its so hard to buy parts here..japan is so over priced.. my LBS charges MRSP on anything I want if I am lucky I get 10% off...CRC is almost half the price for anything...even shimano...
when we build stuff in my town is is dismantled quickly...we had to buy a rice field to build a small DJ course.
Japan is great..... The culture. food. Technology(watch out for the latest kowa suspension and mtb pruducts) society(japschicksareawesome) And freeriding on the superb mountian or historic city around japan that makes it perfect.... Nice vid man
Sweet vid guys. Two guys being idiots, tearing up sweet trails and catching it all on film. Cheers guys, this will get me through the day at work. Go Japan. I totally can't wait to go have a play there. Go Japan. Oh and totally agree with the AM bikes. They are the best invention ever.
Thanks man it was awesome riding and being big kids on Bikes is what life is all about!!hahhahaha Ride on and have an awesome day at work man!!
Ride on!
Awesome... you guys are great and I love following your riding adventures in Japan. Such an exotic place for this old, bike-obsessed, ex-German dude living in beautiful BC!
Thank you! This year was awesome riding with Buspilot and shraing or Japanese trails together! I wish you a superb season in Canada man!!!
Ride on German dude!!!!
yes, japanese don't ride that much, so almost all you see in these vids are their own local trail. but there is at least as much mountain as in BC. bad point for building is that a lot of mountain are to steep to ride, you have to be on the ridge
good job guys for your vid! i'll be there again for episode 16 or 17 :p
Yes! Japan is way behind the west coast in terms of bike parks and places to ride, however there are tons of beautiful mountains and lots ot steep DH riding to be done!!
I have been very happy riding and building here for the last 7 years. Comming from California
Its very different but Awesome!!
Ride On!!
hey man my girlfriend is from Osaka and am planing to spend this summer there!! not sure yet but if i go i really want to spend summer ridin bikes!!! will like to know how much i have to travel to go biking places!! allso will like to meet riders from there!!! 僕の尊敬なるライダー どうもありがとうございます
Im here man if your into riding lets ride. I assume your comming with your girl which is awesome but far from where I live. About 3hours by train. In this video day 2 is a bike DH park which might be close from Osaka.
Check out some of my videos and pictures and see if you might want to come down my way when your here.
Ride On bro!!
Its for barspins and we run are cables different. Left brake is the back and right is the front! I have had my cables like this for 5years or more on all my bikes! It works!!
Ride On man!
that was pretty cool. did isee some of fujimi in there? riding in japan is sick once u find all the trails. its hard to build but once its built its always fun in japan
I didn't think it was hard to find trails in Japan. I lived in Fussa for a couple of years and there were a lot of good trails to ride nearby. Couple of my friends raced in what seemed like a decent scene. Most of the trails we just rode to and then rode back. Or stopped and ate then rode back. Only problem for me was I don't like Japanese food so I at mostly rice. Not enough after a ride.
Nice video.
Japan looks like it is such a beautiful place.
I so wanted to go touring Japan on my bike this year...your video just make me want to go even more.
when we build stuff in my town is is dismantled quickly...we had to buy a rice field to build a small DJ course.
good job guys for your vid! i'll be there again for episode 16 or 17 :p
Where do you usually ride in Aichi ?
