Welcome to my Patriotic Saracen ALX to where I was born, Zimbabwe. I've got to to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Saracen Bikes for making this happen and to my buddy Nathan Green on the Isle of Wight for spraying the Zebra stripe and Lion. You guys rock. I LOVED the zebra duck tape that I wrapped the front end of my last ALX. So I thought of getting the zebra patten airbrushed on with the king of the jungle ‘The Lion’ sprayed onto the front to finish it off. I got to say it came out better than I thought.

The three colours do come across a lot like the Jamaican flag colours. Zimbabwe is just the same, with green, yellow (gold), red and black. Each colour has a meaning. Yellow (Gold) stands for the wealth of minerals in the country, green stands for the agriculture and rural areas, red is a bit of a war orientated colour. This symbolises the blood shed during the first and second Chimurenga war and black indicates the heritage, ethnicity and community of the native Africans of Zimbabwe. Now you know what the colours of the Zimbabwe flag stand for haha….

Halo Chaos rim black built onto a red Halo DJD supadrive hub (32 spoke, 14t sprocket, Rear wheel, 65psi Dirt, 80psi Skatepark Weight Full wheel 1235g)

DMR V12 pedals (Colour Grey, Weight 430g)
Gusset BlingSlink half link chain (Gold, Weight 330g)
KORE Repute stem (35mm, 126g)
KORE Rivera lock-on grips (Red flange, Weight a pair 112g)
Saint rear brake (Cable wrapped around twice, Weight 302g)
TRP disc (Black, 160mm rotor, Weight 89g)
RED Rotor Bolts
Gusset Fat Jack Pivotal (Black, Weight 335g)
Alianation Pivotal Seat Post (Black, Weight 230g)
Halo H-Block tyres front and rear (Black, 26”x2.2”, Weight 730g)
Inner Tubes. CHEAP ONES (£2.50 each)
M:Part Headset (Madison)
KORE headset spacer (Gold, 10mm x 1)
KORE top cap (Black)

I haven’t got many mods to my bike apart from one. What I have done is cut out a donut shape out of a old tyre (Thin Tyre) and place it in between the Bottom Bracket and Crank arm. This works a treat. You can adjust the tension by tightening or loosening the gold crank arm fixing. It's perfect!

I run xt's personally and something as powerful as the new xt's or saints doesn't go astray when starting slides or avoiding hitting the next jump in set or for use in stalls and other park related tricks.
