Awesome Photo btw, its amaising how you managed to get all the highlight detail and shadow detail in the one shot...that freaking impossible when shooting into the sun like you are now.
Sweet shot! Really POD worthy. By the way; looks like a Scott Genius MC. It was one of the three contenders for a new bike for me, three years ago. In the end I bought a Giant Trance, which I'm really pleased with. How do you like the Genius?
Thanks for the compliment! I'm not sure if it's really POD worthy but I like it.
I love my Genius. I'm actually ordering the 2009 frame in the near future. The adjustable travel feature has me super spoiled. I can't go back!
Really nice pic man. Makes a change to see a bit of XC. ^^And that bike is in no way "lame"...I rode one last year and couldn't believe how well the sus worked. It rides like a hardtail until you hit a bump.
Hey Ya'll, I just logged on and basically crapped my pants when I saw this shot as a POD. I'm kind of stunned! Thanks for all the kind comments. As for my chain, I'm pretty sure it's my suspension working. Or, it could be the almost complete lack of maintenance I put my bikes through...
I probably shouldn't have watermarked the shot as 100% mine since my girlfriend held down the button after I set up the shot. Hey, what can you do? And, yes I use Lightroom.
awwwww yeah, my name on a bike. i need to get myself a Scott. if anyone try's to steal it, and i catch him and he wants to argue it's his...il say it has my name on it ...literally
"Epic" is the latest buzz-word...give it a couple months and people will be saying something else like..."Yo dats proppa quiche" (If the other pic you're referring to is the snow one, then it's only a matter of time).
And for all you ignorant gents that have to see DH shots everyday and can't respect XC; where would DH be if it wasn't for XC riding? Piss on your Grandfather too while your at it.
oh yeah cause it takes more balls to ride xc then freeride/DH eh? i would definatly think it takes more skill to huck off a 20 foot roller then to ride down it like a xc rider.
