dubstep was cool when it was underground... now it's all commercialized and shit.. dubstep remixes ruining all sorts of songs.. skrillex can suck my left nut.. dubstep is now garbage.. just a bunch of shitty sounds mixed with more shitty sounds..

Wolfe you're right, dubstep these days is just a complete authentic sample of a pop song or some cartoon voices mixed with dubstep beats. Well, not really mixed, since the transitions sound pretty much like the "composers" used an on and off button.

What you got against skrillex? Hes been making dubstep since like 2000. Thats longer than you have been listening to it.
Also if it werent for it becoming more famous you would have never heard of it as it originated in london...... Kinda contradicting yourself there.

alright bys, stop the hating on dubstep, nobody can argue with the fact dubstep, especially skrillex, is booming now. everyone has different taste in genres, but dubstep is off the charts.

that underground dubstep never went away, theres just more popular artists putting out more songs than others. look harder, the sea just got bigger but there are still some fucking beautiful fish in there

hate to say but skrillex is a dubstep sellout, listen to some real stuff, horsepower productions, Digital Mystikz, 16bit, benga, skream all of them, i'm more of a drum and bass guy myself but i do like dubstep asides that; great pod and a brilliant picture!

Wolfe I agree and disagree. Some of the best dubstep songs are remixes. The problem that I have is the people who solely listen to dubstep. They think that that's the "only music" out there. The songs are easy to understand you just bob your head to the beat, but there isn't as much of a message for the music. And if there is a message or vocals it is more likely just taken from an actual song that's being remixed. That said I feel like there are a lot of hollowed dubstep which lacks substance and on the other spectrum there's some dubstep that just checks all the boxes. Btw I listen and appreciate all music, choose artists wisely people!

lemon, i have been listening to dubstep for awhile, yes, not since 2005, but at least the past 5 years.. i have nothing against skrillex himself, just the music he makes. i will say it takes talent, like all music does, except bieber.. we can all agree on that.. that just requires small testicles and shitty lyrics. but dubstep is just garbage now..

Again that is your opinion, Skrillex's music is not pure dub-step. He mixes it up with all sorts like house, electro, brostep. Even skream, starting producing AFTER the mainstreaming of dubstep........
