Front wheel as long as you use, just grease to bearings every 2 years.
Rear wheel, I'd be excited if they lasted 2 years.

Pässilä's Runtu Titanium Enduro Hardtail & An eMTB Proto with Automatic Transmission
As the press release mentions, the Finnish national enduro series has its own category for racing hardtails. It has been there for at least a decade. They race the exact same race, just on hardtails. It's a fun category where people choose to take the punishment for some reason. Brings a lot of good banter and that category has lots of fun nicknames.
So you question is valid, why would anyone do that? I never raced that category, but many of my friends did. I still don't know why.

Pinkbike Audience Survey Results: What Parts do Pinkbike Readers Use?
How rare Mavic has become in wheels is amazing. They were the brand in wheels 10 years ago.
The same thing can be said for OneUp in flat pedals and other components. I don't remember even hearing of OneUp 5 years ago.

@mkem: Oo, thanks for letting me know! Very interesting! I have the same bike, but in XL size, so I run the long CS setting. Just swapped to the mullet setup, and hoping to do some AB testing between mullet and 29" during the weekend. Why did you decide to go with the mullet?

@sitkadog: at least in these in these photos Miranda has short CS setting. Can’t see so clearly from Connor’s bike, but looks like he has the long setting.
