I was out there the same time,saw him out on the trails,usually from behind and through his dust,had his personal mechanic at the trail side at all times with full kit of everything,wheels tyres etc etc... fast def' helps!

Translation for everyone not northern. I've not been out on the bike much, the weathers shit so I've come out here to ride. Roost DH are really good they'll sort out everything that you need. Being fast is awesome

taff22 is so right. Rode this track whilst with roost. They treat everyone great and helped us out loads even though we weren't staying with them. They really do made everyone feel like your just as important to them

Might just be me, but does anyone else think his style seems to have subtly changed? I'm not sure I can pinpoint in what way exactly, maybe more precise and less wild? Interested to hear what anyone else thinks

I agree, seems to have a lot more flow and less whip! He was squashing jumps which is not like Danny. Looking forward to him challanging this season. Think he might well be coming in to his own as a few old dogs are another year older. Tee-Tee-Teessider!

Dude, you are totally wrong. That's an Ortema neckbrace. From what I heard, Leatt braces are likely to break collarbones or harm the thorasic spine on awkward crashes.. so I'm not surprised at all, that less people use them. Ortema is a German company specialized in orthopedic healthcare. Those are some very knowledgable dudes with absolutely elaborate products of best quality. They are lighter, more comfortable and safer than anything I know. Good to see him ride one... I would love for them to get more popular.
