MBWales.com is the fresh face of mountain biking in Wales. Over the last three months, MBWales has undergone a complete rebrand with a new logo and an impressive new website with all the information you need to plan your next adventure in Wales.
To launch the website we asked
Chris Davies and his team at Eastwood Media to make us a film showing what it looks like to ride in Wales.
Filmed over the last few months at the trail centres and natural trails,
Chris followed a number of adventures, from Bike Packing in the Brecon Beacons, Downhill at Antur Stiniog, a family adventure at Coed y Brenin and even a trail dog at Cwm Rhaeadr!
There will be longer versions of each adventure coming out over the next few weeks but for now, here’s Wales; Destination Wales: Cyrchfan Cymru. The whole film is produced in glorious 4k ultra-high-definition to really show off Wales in detail, you can watch the 4K version on
YouTube. This project has been funded by Welsh Government through Visit Wales’ Tourism Product Innovation Fund. The project was managed by Denbighshire County Council on behalf of the MBWales Marketing and Development Group. Chris Davies and Eastwood Media have permission for Aerial Work from the Civil Aviation Authority (PFAW #1020) and have the necessary insurance and landowners permissions to fly drones at all of the locations used in the film.

As for cwm rhaeadr - just check out the second pic - its a minimum two laps and probably 3 if your coming from far. A hidden gem and scenery to make you stop and just take it all in.
Please let's do it justice and talk about all the fantastic stuff there....
