The course opened today at Mountain Creek to start the 2nd ProGRT of the season. Although it rained on Thursday, the course was unbelievably dry and dusty. The SoCal riders looked pretty comfortable riding through it and so did some of the Colorado folk. We're hoping the skies open up tonight so things can get crazy tomorrow.
Seamus took 2nd at Duryea Downhill (Gravity East #2, Eastern States Cup #1), #2 at Plattekill Enduro on this bike. Raced Plattekill DH (Eastern States Cup #2) on a Glory? THink he won the Mountain Creek Super-D yesterday on the Reign And now he's racing the Reign on the Mountain Creek DH.
I don't think it's a sb6. Look at the shock mount on the inside of the downtube and the rear triangle. The shock mount is a different angle. It's def a different than the sb6. Looks way more similar to the old 303
I believe that's Jason Memmelaar, I can't remember which frame it is, it's long and definitely has a DH fork on it though. He's been having some pretty good results so far this year!
Jeez. I totally missed the memo on all dh bikes having to have super noisy freehubs. Holy Crap they are loud.
People saying here that some of the bikes were clacking and sh!t but you could still hear the hub above it all.
Video is sweet though.
Gotta be hard to gauge speed with a slower(no offense) rider following. Loic did the same thing to Claudio. Really need the faster rider out back, but then you'd miss all them sneaky lines!
I like course previews, props to anyone who can ride and narrate!
