The American Thanksgiving tradition began in Plymouth, Massachusetts; to celebrate this holiday check out the video from last year's Share the Ride in nearby Boston, Massachusetts.Today in the United States it's Thanksgiving. Although this tradition began with the Pilgrims giving thanks after their first successful crop was harvested with the help of the local Native Americans, the essence of the celebration now lays in being thankful for the people and things that enrich our lives. As mountain bikers, we have much to be thankful for. We participate in a sport that we love and that provides us with a world wide community of like minded people. We experience the joys of the great outdoors and the adventures that come from immersing ourselves in the mountains. We travel, we make friends and we live for the moment.
Our goal at Share the Ride is to provide an opportunity for disadvantaged children and youth to experience those joys by giving them their own, brand new bicycle. Please help us by making a donation so we can make that happen again, again and again.
Donating comes with many rewards, a sense of satisfaction plus the chance to win these amazing prizes.
