My first week in Whistler was great. After travelling a lot, I'm finally back where I want to be since the park closed back on October 15, 2013. Trails are amazing, the bike feels great, so I made this selfie video, with some other shots I had from the opening, and the next few days. Hope you like it!
had the pleasure of riding up a lift with them when I was at whistler a couple weeks ago. Guy is super cool and laid back, remember hearing his struggles to get this posted, glad you got posted Remy! Keep slaying it!!!
amazing riding with super sick one handers and I thought the music was perfect becuase his riding gives me a sexual feeling, haha but i think he choose the music because it embraces his love for being able to get back in the trails and ride whistler once again
Does anyone else notice he generally doesn't ride with his one finger on the brake levers? If he has a finger on the lever it's always the rear brake. Unless he's riding moto brakes. Regardless, that's insane! Maybe that's how he rips the rock line.
Remember when people hated edits composed only of GoPro shots? I do and did but I don't remember why I did because I don't... uhm... lost it there. Remy slays it so hard. I hope he teams up with Kovarik for an edit, it'd be so absurd.
From this camera angle it looks like all you have to do to ride like a badass is move your arms and shoulders once in a while. Love that he just fists the bar with his left hand. No need to even put a finger on the brake - not gonna use it. "You ride chainless too? Well I ride brakeless foo!" Great riding Remy!
I rode A Line for the first time on Sunday and as a noob (first season on an MTB since riding singletrack on a rigid bike in the early 90's) it's amazing to see someone riding the bike park at this level.
Basically he had tried to upload it to Facebook, but it'd always fail and we'd only be able to hear the music.
So it took him a couple weeks to find out what was wrong.
Not convinced by this... The two edits 'remy metailler Whistler' and 'a dusty day in the whistler bikepark' were SO good in comparaison... Disappointed by this music too, if we may call it 'music' ...
Man, you did this to us last year too - gave us an edit with awesome riding and shite music - and again I'll forgive you 'cause the riding is that good!
Maybe the gopro view is a little deceiving 'cause I wouldn't say the riding was too laid back. He seemed to be going at a pretty good pace and I didn't think the song was a good match.
