Yeti Cycles Big Mountain Enduro presented by Shimano - - Keystone Stop #2
Great times were had on super challenging courses last weekend at Keystone Bike Park. Here are highlights from stop #2 of the #BME and stop #4 of the North American Enduro Tour. @yeticycles @shimano @Maxxis

I love the fact that in the BME, more or less, you need DH chops. Most of the races when at resorts, have stages on DH courses. This is good, it's tech, it's tougher, and it's more fun.

Every segment was on the DH trails of keystone. So... yeah makes me wonder if they should be pedaling up on DH bikes... Is there a rule against double crown 8" bikes in an enduro race?

BME does a good job of having a mix of trails so that you are at a disadvantage if you run a full on DH rig. You can do it, it's not against the rules. But as Richie said, stage 1 was 15 minutes of pedaling. But yes, BME should try to add some back country stages around Keystone but Summit County is all bike raced out with the Firecracker 50, the Breck Epic, and the Breck 100. Permits are not going to happen.
