Check out who could be getting between the tape this weekend in Val Di Sole.
The entry lists are based on riders who were expecting to race this weekend, some of the riders in this list may have pulled out of racing after entering. DH
WCS is world cup standing at the start of the race, but this list is so out dated, Wyn and Ben Cathro sure aint riding, I dont think Sam Hill will be there, so out dated its kind of pointless, more interesting questions would be is Rachel Atherton going to race etc
I wonder what made them decide to not show the plate numbers on the entry lists this year. It makes following the raw vids a lot harder, because you can't just check the riders by the number plates. Sometimes you can find them by the WCS, but many don't have the WCS by their name. Weird change, wonder if they could go back to the way it was...
The entry list is slightly different than the start list, I believe.
I think when they issue the start list for qualifying they will show the plate numbers. Today the Juniors are qualifying, and UCI has posted the start list for the men and women Juniors. Tomorrow the Elite will qualify and, hopefully, they'll post the start list with plate numbers for those.
To see today's Junior start lists, go to ucimtbworldseries.com/events/val-di-sole-trentino , scroll to the bottom where you see Race Documents, and click on the Qualifying Start List line for each. It will open a PDF that shows both WCS and Plate Number.
@Bibico: Yeah, I know, thanks. I've checked yesterday evening, and there were only entry lists. Now there's still no start lists for elites. So yeah, like I said.
There’s over 120 elite XC men registered. If you’re not in the first few rows and are unable to out-sprint the other world class guys to the front before the first choke point you’ll be in for a long day. Honestly I think a field this large needs to be broken into four or five smaller group races. The top 5-6 of each of these groups race on Sunday for the overall. Who agrees?
He's on the entry but I thought he had a broken leg?
