You ever wonder what does into the making of a poster that you see or an ad? Norco just uploaded a great video about the making of an ad with Dylan Korba last year.
You guys couldn't spring for a couple of nails to keep that gigantic P.O.S. of a ramp together? That gives "ghetto" a bad name. The riding was incredible, no doubt about that, he has some serious skills and guts to hit that thing.
I agree with srh2. it is a cool vid. but i also am involved in the design field and when i read the title i was really looking forward to seeing how somebody else was about to tackle the layout of a poster. How they went about it etc... So it was disappointing and misleading. but hey im here for bikes initially, design is my other hobby!
The title is misleading. Neat vidio, however, this was not a video about the making of an ad...it was a video about a photoshoot for an ad. There's is nothing showing the process involved in laying out the actual ad.
Seriously, do we need to nit pick that much, I am sure that we've all got better things to do. I felt like sharing what went into that "photoshoot", which became a "poster", sorry if I did not lay that out enough. I am just stoked on how it came about.
I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I work in the Advertising/Design industry. When I saw the title of the article I was looking forward to seeing how my line of work was portrayed and was slightly disappointed to see that the video was simply of a shoot. Nothing wrong with the video, it was interesting...but just not really about the making of an ad.
I'm sorry if you found my comments upsetting or nit-picky.
Ahahah I know exactly where that overpass is, its out by the train tracks on the way to Poco from Coquitlam, Looks like you Norco guys kept it close to home.
That gives "ghetto" a bad name.
