What a result from Joe Breeden coming 4th elite. This is his first race since shattering his foot 7 months ago, and his first race in elite men. One to watch in the UCI world cup this year.

Come on Danny son! Give us a win here next month!
  • 13 5
I think Greg Minnaar has a say in that matter

 Gwinny the hope breaker...
  • 21 2
Mr. Ed Masters will make it this time

Ooft, Danny obviously has some sneaky lines no one else has!
  • 1 0
 I reckon - big margin!
  • 2 0
I don't think Fort Bill has any sneaky lines. It is all about how fast you dare ride the really rough sections.
  • 1 0
Kovarik put 14 sec into the field in 02 so there is precedent for large margins at the Fort (in the men's field. Fully aware of Rachel's double digit dominance for years). Still mighty impressive though. Go Danny!

 Anyone know if Gee raced?

Good results Henry and Greg, well done boys.

Seeing Figaret in third makes me wonder what the rule book would say if a non-british rider won the British nationals (or any other national championship for that matter)? Do they give the flag sleeve to 2nd or just nobody gets it? Seems unlikely so just a random thought.
  • 1 0
It's only the British national champs that get given the sleeve, not the normal national series - similar to how there's the world cup and then the world champs. But yeah, if someone were to race the champs who wasn't British, the top finishing Brit would get the sleeve.

Reckon Seagrave could've taken the win if it wasn't for the wind, such is the racing life.

Dayummmn Danny and Rachel putting in 6 seconds on the rest of the field!!
  • 2 1
I'd say Rachel is nearly if not back on form!
  • 2 2
@yeti951SD: I want to see her blow everyone's doors off at Ft. Bill so bad
  • 4 1
Any news if Gee competed? I hope he gets back to his competitive form.

Im with you. He's such a good all around rider. Remember his rampage days

Dare I say that I think Gee' s best world cup years are behind him now. Would like to see him give the EWS a shot and see what his results are like.
  • 5 0
@Pratley: I’d bet money we see him at EWS next year with Greg Callaghan as team mate
  • 3 0
I've been wondering about gee how come he's not at the pace he was at?
  • 5 1
@russovwick: Too busy playing with his rally car in the woods.
  • 5 0
@russovwick: might be something to do with all the injuries.....
  • 2 0
@russovwick: I love Gee, but I think he's just a victim to father time. I'm 43 so I know what I'm talking about.
  • 2 0
Anyone know where the full results are? Checked all the usual places
  • 3 0
@Dropthedebt: Hey mate, thanks. Already seen that. I'm after the full results, all categories. Cheers anyway.

@toby9843: Same here.. FFS! how hard is it to put up the results of a National Race these days..?
  • 3 1
@Zen-Potatoes: it's the sds they do those rusults with a pad and a pencil !! The don't believe in computers !!!!

 @Damo6-6-6: Nice one, Cheers Dude..
  • 1 0
@Damo6-6-6: Noticed that Amaury Pierron was on a stonking run before he must have had some sort of incident. Up 5+ seconds over Danny.

Had a peek at his previous results, he's had a few world cup podiums and one win (Leogang 2014) But I don't recognize his name at all.

Did the women go down in the rain or something? It seems the time gaps between the mens and women's winners is bigger than typical at nearly a full minute.
  • 2 1
It's typically about 40s from what I remember.
  • 3 0
New rock garden that replaces bog from last year is pretty physical and may well account for some of that...
  • 3 1
Damn, Daniel, back at it again
  • 1 0
Yes.He finished 10th, 10.262 seconds behind Danny Hart
  • 4 6
Gee is too busy doing other stuff. For me he is stealing a living from Trek. Not competitive at all, I wouldn’t be signing him again if I was a top team.
Needs to look at his sister for how it should be done!
  • 2 4
Him and Dan have a good deal bunching themselves with rachel
  • 8 1
Gee could be considered a legend IMO. He's earned a right to rest on his accomplishments. He also puts out a lot of media to get exposure for his sponsors. He helped put British DH on the map. I think he deserves everything he has.
  • 2 0
In a sense, the Athertons signed Trek, not so much the other way around. Atherton Racing is a package deal...if you want Rachel, you have to get Gee and Dan.
  • 1 0
No way did everyone go through the speed trap in the order they finished!
