These are great bikes. I'm really happy to see RSD survived the pandemic. I have had a steel MC v2 for a few years and it honestly feels like a "forever-bike."

Alex, for the v4, add ~20mm to the stack so I have a reason to buy a new one.

As a former dually owner who only owns a trail hardtail these days, I believe the Middle child seems a really good bike for 95% of most casual riders needs.
Good seat angle for climbing, fun on blue trails and capable on downhill blue and black trails.
Titanium frame is not the bike you need. But let's be honest... it IS the one you want :-)

Got a Titanium MiddleChild a few months ago, so I can confirm that it was the one I wanted Big Grin

I own the Gypsum RS-291.... One of the best frames I've ever owned. RSD (Alex) has the best customer service in the game. Seriously, want to support a company that really listens to thier customers and work with them to achieve the rig they are looking for... Go buy a RSD bike!

Man, I'd love an excuse to buy that Ti fat bike, but climate change has kinda ruined winter riding. Just not enough days where we've got snow and cold enough weather for the trails to be set up properly to justify the cost. Crazy to be saying that about Maine, but it's been true two years in a row now.

My RS-291 is such a fun bike, I’m a huge RSD fan!

I ended up putting a Wolf Tooth +1 angle set in mine and trying my fork at 140mm. So far, it’s great for flatter, pedal fest type of trails.

My only gripe, I wish the chainstays were longer. 425-440 adjustment would make a lot more sense for a bike like this, IMO.

The middle child is my dream hardtail. For awhile the wildcat was the FS I had in my sights. Still think about these bikes but unfortunately have not owned one yet.

Had a look at the website, can't believe I hadn't heard of the Wildcat before! Exactly the kind of bike I'd buy to replace my Scout, reasonably priced and well specced. Nice!
