great reading! butt....from a photographers point of view i would say there is to much photoshop done in this photo. who ever took this photo played with the lighting a little to much in my point of view. i'd like to see the original photo. but i do give the rider props for pulling off this trick.

I can assure you that there was done only minor adjustments in photoshop regarding this shot:-)

The epic backdrop combined with a couple of flashes on Sam's and his colored t-shirt gives alot of contrast...which probably gives you the impression of a huge amount of cheating in PS...
