Race Face Evolve DH Cranks

 I've had both the ISIS and the X-Type version of these cranks and although both were pretty much problem free I did sell the X-Types at one point but still have the ISIS version on my .243 and its been 6 years now. Cranks don't come loose, don't make any noise and still spin smooth. Probably one of the only parts on that bike thats still there from the original build in 2004!

 Pros: Very easy to install and remove. Also super stiff and bullet proof. Never had any problems with them. I have been using them for about a year now. They have been on two bikes and still work as if new.
Cons: None

Plus they look sick!

 these are solid cranks, a tad heavey but whatever.the only thing i would change is the ammount of teeth. i would run 24,38. overall this is probally the best bang for the buck solid cranks at a good price guaranteed not to break on ya.

 great crank...I've got the same one going on my third frame and have only just replaced the bottom bracket, and i bought it used!!! The interface system is simple and heavy duty. The only drawback I would say would probably be weight, although it's not so bad (used to cheap boat anchor cranks before this one)

 Pros: Sturdy crank arms (I weigh 250), X-type bottom bracket hardly ever losens, I have bashed the 44t chainring a couple of times and I have yet to break a tooth.

Cons: Your friends will copy you and get one too because they are so bad ass.

 Got the single ring set and have been very happy with it. Total bitch to set up though, I kept thinking that it had too large of a space between the ring and the frame because of a spacer that just seemed to flop around. But once they were on they are a sick set of cranks.

 Extremely stiff, smooth, and the matte black looks sick. Also comes with crank extractor. Only downsides are the weight, and the 22/32 sprockets. I put a C guard on mine where the 22 tooth was( C guard was like a cheap guide so the chain doesn't fall off) the I upgraded the 32 tooth to a 38 and what a difference. the c gaurd was about 40 bucks and the sprocket was about 50.

 This things are super stiff! Work great with my E13 bash and guide. I can actually feel confident when i pedal now that i don't have twisting under me and i don't have to worry about my chain coming off too. (I run single tooth; 36)

 Mint, better than Shimano Hollow Wank, mate's got shimano, keeps losing his pedal and crank arm, Rass Fass are mint, once you figure out how they come off they are a piece of piss to remove (although we did smash the living shit out of a chainring trying to get it off at first). if you get a double ring and want a single, dead eay to do, grind off the inner ring bolt thingys. Chain ring a bit off a c*nt to line up though. still better than shimano.

 Very strong and solid feeling. I have the 2 ring setup. I kept the 22T and replaced the 32T with a 36T - I also rant it with the 34T for a bit. The bash guard was also replaced with my e.Thirteen.

Very easy and straight forward installation. Figuring out the number of washers/spacers to use can be a trial by error process but its not bad; I had mine installed and set with the proper spacing in about 45 minutes.

The LBS had these on sale for $119 (USD) last year which was hard to pass up.

 Takes a beating, and for only 200 bones you can't go wrong! snapped the stock truvative crankset within the first week of riding, this set has been everywhere and done it all!

 really stiff, nice and light to, only problem i had is that i beat the shit out of them and they got a little wobbly, but that was the BB, the cranks themselves are still stiff as hell

 Self-extracting crank bolt is awesome. Reinforced pedal interface is strong, doesn't spin in the crank like it is known to happen on other cranksets. Looks awesome, is super stiff but doesn't way a ton

 read the description above, you get what it says. there are lighter cranks out there, but this is light enough and more than strong enough for the price. "perfect performance DH crankset for abusive riders on a budget"

 solid buy for 200 bones, takes a sh*t kicking and works great! If you're looking for a crankset upgrade and have little cash, this in the one I'd recommend. Been using this for 5 years this season, no problems!

 Strong smooth and quick exceleration. Get them if you can. The gold bearing case looks proper on the bike. Did I mention they are strong? Easy to assemble and durablity are key componets to this product.

 This is the stiffest crank i have ever had looks good great low price and takes a good beating every ride and still wont's more the x-type is a good stiff bb system I have hardly any flex out of this crank

 very very strong and with a solid BB like a truvativ gigapipe DH team or raceface's own DH isis BB they work a treat and are nice and light

 in my opinion, this is the sexiest, most durable and designed crank i have ever come across. it works like a charm. the pedaling is smooth as porn star skin, i could go on.

 so damm stiff i went from a truvativ to it and the difference was more than noticeable it is as strong as a crank as most people will ever need, the weight isint bad

 I have this crank set on my urban/dirt jump bike and it has held up very well. The bash ring takes a hammering and has yet broke or bent.Very smooth feeling BB

 Got these on my Faith, they are great cranks, low maintenance. Not to bad for the price either. Buy them and you won't be disappointed!

 Awesome. Very Strong, never ever going to use anything but Race Face. Never had any problems used mine for downhill and there just super strong and not super expensive

 Stiff, strong, cheap. My fav part is that it has a crank extractor in it! Go x-type! But its heavy, so if your a weight weenie, run to the hills.

 I bet this crank could survive a nuclear explosion and come out with a chip on the bash guard.....

 i got sick of xc cranks breaking so i bought this. bb creaks now and then but that is my fault because of river riding .

 Got this crankset a couple of years ago, and it still handles so much abuse. It never skips and is still ike new!!

 I have these on my 07 coiler and there great. There really stiff and light enough for me.

 I run these on both my fully and my park bike. Super stout!
